Recently Foundation 2’s Executive Director Emily Blomme has been recognized for her contributions in community service and leadership.

On February 21, 2019 she was recognized by Waypoint as a “Woman of Achievement in Service to the Community.”  Each year, Waypoint upholds its rich tradition of recognizing women for their personal, professional, and civic contributions to the community through Tribute to Women of Achievement. Reflecting Waypoint’s mission of moving people forward, these women are agents of change in the Corridor through their innovations, organizational enhancements, leadership, and service to others. Their efforts demonstrate the positive influence and impact women have in our community every day.

On April 4, 2019 she will be recognized by the Corridor Business Journal as a “2019 Woman of Influence.”  The Women of Influence award is given to women who have made a difference in the Corridor as role models and leaders in their fields and community.
