On Tuesday, June 22nd, Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett declared July 6th to be “Foundation 2 Day” for the City of Cedar Rapids.  Foundation 2 was formed on July 6, 1970, by a group of Coe College and Kennedy High School students and staff who saw a need for services for people in crisis.  This declaration is part of our 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Want to learn more about our history?  Visit the Carl and Mary Koehler History Center between July 3rd and August 7th to see the special exhibit about Foundation 2 people, programs and places over the past 40 years.

Thank you for celebrating “Foundation 2 Day” with us!
