Overview of the Role:
Assist in the development and delivery of onboarding, and ongoing, or specialized training programs for all levels of staff. Deliver training to staff, with support of the Quality and Training team, at a regular cadence per the annual training calendar. Support supervision of new employees by guiding them through training expectations and providing initial instruction as needed. Create training content and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and data analysis, making recommendations for improvement. Support the implementation of the agency’s staff development initiatives, fostering a culture of learning, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
Shift: This position primarily operates Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm. Some evening flexibility is required to support program operations and staff who may work shifts outside of standard daytime hours.
Benefits:
- Starting Salary: $45,000/year commensurate on experience, licensure, certification, etc.

What you’ll do:

What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in human service field. And one (1) or more years relevant experience.
- High comfort with computers with ability to type quickly and multi-task.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
- Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file.
- Live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods.
- Experience in crisis services preferred.
- Education or training in trauma-informed care preferred.
- Experience in strengths-based practices preferred.
- This position will oversee a team of newly hired employees throughout their training phase. Supervisory experience is preferred.
