Full-Time Counseling Supervisor (2nd Shift) $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

This position includes providing counseling to clients who call our crisis/suicide hotlines, supervising and evaluating staff, providing coaching and feedback to staff, and training new counselors. Some weekend and evening flexibility required. This position has the opportunity to work remotely/from home for some shifts; other shifts will be required to be staffed at our Crisis Center location.

This shift will cover afternoons/evenings for five days in a row during the week.  Exact days are flexible and will be discussed during interviews.  Some meeting attendance will be required outside of normal shift hours.

This position starts at $20/hour plus $12,000 in annual benefit dollars, which can be added on top of your salary, applied to benefits, or a mix of both!  Foundation 2 also offers a generous paid time off package with full time employees accruing over four weeks of PTO in the first year.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in human service or related field and two years relevant experience OR Master’s degree in human service related field
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other basic computer functions
  • Required to live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA
  • Must pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2

Desired Qualifications:

  • One year supervision experience
  • Crisis intervention experience with adults
