Foundation 2 Crisis Services provides 24/7 life-saving phone, chat, text and in-person crisis response services to individuals from all walks of life throughout Iowa. In addition to our life-saving work, we also provide training, consultation and advocacy on suicide prevention and crisis intervention throughout the communities we serve.

Overview of the role

The Mobile Crisis and Community Stabilization Program Manager is responsible for overseeing our Central Mobile Crisis Team, with a coverage area of six counties (Linn, Jones, Delaware, Bremer, Benton and Buchanan), as well as our Community Stabilization Program. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of these programs, quality assurance, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team to meet contractual and programmatic goals. As a program manager you will be a leader within our organization and will mentor, support and guide staff within your program. You will represent Foundation 2 on committees and boards.

What you’ll do:

· Oversee day-to-day operations of our central Mobile Crisis Team and Community Stabilization Programming, which includes supervising staff, managing external relationships, working with clients, quality assurance and ensuring contractual and accreditation compliance.

· Represent Foundation 2 throughout the communities we serve.

· Collaborate closely with other program management to ensure program quality, continuity of care for clients, and effective service delivery.

· Analyze program data and adapt programs as needed to improve the client experience.

· Train and on-board staff on new systems and platforms to ensure a consistent experience across the team.


· Bachelor’s degree in human services field required; Master’s degree preferred

· Three years supervisory experience

· Experience with program development preferred
