Are you passionate about impacting the lives of at-risk youth? Do you want a position that allows you to make a difference? Foundation 2 is seeking a full-time Overnight Supervisor to provide a trauma-informed, supportive environment for youth ages 11 – 17 at the Foundation 2 Youth Shelter

Overview: In this position you will provide leadership for the Overnight Youth Specialist team, ensure shift tasks and administrative paperwork is completed.  The Overnight Supervisor is a member of the Shelter Leadership Team and is part of the on-call rotation.

Hours are: Tuesdays – Fridays from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am.

This position pays $16-$17.50 plus our generous benefit dollar package of $500 per pay period (you can receive up to $500 per pay period as income if you don’t need our benefits/insurance, or put that money toward the cost of insurance, 401k, or other benefits). Duties Include:

  • Overnight supervision of youth clients
  • Complete client files and paperwork, including intakes/discharges, referral sheets, etc.
  • Complete regular audits of client files, identify gaps and work with shelter leadership team to ensure accuracy
  • Ensuring shift tasks and documentation are completed in a timely manner, including intake paperwork, daily case notes, visual checks, etc.
  • Administer medications per medication management guidelines
  • Work with other team members in a professional manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: 21 years of age and possess An AA degree and 1-year human service experience
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency insurance policy
  • Pass all criminal and child abuse background checks
  • Computer experience, including Microsoft Office Suite, required
  • Submit a copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file
  • Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods
  • Complete a physical exam prior to the beginning of employment and every 3 years thereafter and be free of communicable diseases as determined by a physician

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: BA/BS degree (related field preferred) and 2+ years of human service experience
  • Experience working with and compassion for at-risk youth, education or training in trauma-informed care, strengths-based practices, conflict resolution, and de-escalation techniques
  • Supervisory experience
