When I speak to groups in the community I frequently hear stories about the good work that our staff is doing to support people in crisis every day. I recently spoke to a church group when one of the members raised his hand with a story to share. He had let a friend who was going through a tough time stay in his guest room while the friend got back on his feet. One evening the friend was very suicidal so the church member called our crisis center for help. Foundation 2 was able to connect the person struggling with thoughts of suicide to in-person support so that he lived to see the other side of this crisis situation.

It warms my heart to hear powerful stories from community members about how our staff makes a difference for people in crisis every day, saving lives. In sharing these stories with others who may be considering connecting with help for the first time, these stories can save lives.

Foundation 2 has compiled a list of testimonials and quotes on a new testimonial page on our website. We appreciate those who have shared their experiences about our services. If you are interested in sharing your story of connection with Foundation 2, please contact Elisabeth Kissling at ekissling@foundation2.org.

One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.
