We are very grateful for the community partners, volunteers and others who came together in the last week to support Foundation 2 and those we serve. All Foundation 2 locations sustained damage in the storm, but we are working to clean up sites and repair damage. Multiple sites remain without power. Thank you to everyone who has helped during this time.
Organization and individual needs remain. Foundation 2 serves young adults transitioning out of foster care, many of whom were impacted by the storm including loss of income, home damage and loss of resources (food, childcare items, etc.) If you can help fill these needs for a young person in your community, contact Renae Koth at rkoth@foundation2.org. Monetary donations can also be accepted online or by mail to support storm recovery, staff and client needs and more.
For more information on services, questions or other needs, please contact Sarah Nelson at snelson@foundation2.org or Drew Martel at dmartel@foundation2.org. For all media-related inquires, contact Jena Schoenhofer at jschoenhofer@foundation2.org. We will continue to update our social media as the situation changes.
We are thinking of all of our friends, colleagues and community members who were impacted by the August 10 storms and look forward to working together to put our community back together again.
