DESCRIPTION:At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop\, you’ll learn real-life skills to help prevent suicide by recognizing signs\, providing a skilled intervention\, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.\n\nThis community-based training is open to everyone at least 16 years of age\, including parents\, educators\, social service providers\, etc.\n\nThe training will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 5 and 6 at the Downtown Cedar Rapids Public Library.
