Foundation 2 Crisis Services Basics

Learn about the Foundation 2 Crisis Services agency from a member of our team. This one-hour presentation is suitable for workplaces, schools, social services organizations, faith communities and more.

In this training, participants can:

  • Learn about our mission, impact and services
  • Explore our programs and how to access these supports
  • Review suicide prevention efforts and actions steps to support yourself and your community
  • Learn how to start conversations about mental health and thoughts of suicide

Lunch & Learns

Choose between a menu of topics about mental wellness or suicide prevention for a one-hour, mid-day presentation. Individualized mental wellness trainings are also available for Lunch & Learn sessions. Topics can be tailored for workplaces, social service programs, community groups and more.

Mastering the Stress Response Cycle – Practical Strategies for Wellness

Understand the stress response cycle to help break the cycle of chronic stress and develop healthier coping mechanisms. This evidence-based and research-backed training is appropriate for workplaces, social services, schools, community groups and more.

In this training, participants will:

  • Learn about different types of stress and how they should be approached
  • Explore the impact that chronic stress has on our physical and mental health
  • Develop personalized strategies to manage the stress response cycle and improve quality of life
  • Examine how brain-based regulation strategies support our long-term health

Time: 90 minutes

Brain Based Regulation

Understand how the brain operates when individuals are heightened or dysregulated. Develop ways to resolve issues during these times in a safe and productive way. This evidence-based and research-supported training is applicable for workplaces, community groups, social work professions, schools and more. This training is ideal for workplaces experiencing significant change or conflict, grief and loss, situational crises and other high-stress situations.

In this training, participants can:

  • Learn about how the brain responds when someone is heightened or dysregulated
  • Explore strategies to manage and regulate their own emotions
  • Increase effectiveness in delivery of support and services for individuals in crisis

Time: 90 minutes
