ASIST Training

At a LivingWorks ASIST workshop, you’ll learn real-life skills to help prevent suicide by recognizing signs, providing a skilled intervention, and developing a safety plan to keep someone alive.
This community-based training is open to everyone at least 16 years of age, including parents, educators, social service providers, etc.
The training will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 5 and 6 at the Downtown Cedar Rapids Public Library. Attendance is required for the entirety of both days.
This training is provided FREE of charge. Registration is required by 5 p.m. on Dec. 27; email Katie Curtis at kcurtis@foundation2.org to reserve your spot today.
