Part Time Mobile Crisis Outreach Counselor (weekends)
Reports to: MCO Program Coordinator
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA.
Hours: PT Saturday & Sunday 12:00PM-10:00PM.

Overview of the role
Coordinate and respond to dispatches within the East Central region during scheduled hours. Offer compassionate, objective, client centered counseling to individuals. Assist individuals and families with connection to local resources and community providers. Advocate for clients in navigating various social systems. Complete required documentation and maintain client files in accordance with program policies in a timely manner.
This PT role requires 20-24 hours per week. The offered schedule is Saturday & Sunday – 12:00PM-10:00PM, and allows for flexibility as needed.

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and respond to dispatches within the East Central region during scheduled hours.

- Complete required documentation and maintain client files in accordance with program policies in a timely manner.
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field required and one (1) or more years relevant experience.
- Comfort using basic computer software
- Basic typing and data entry skills.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy.
- Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
- Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file.
- Attend all MCO trainings within 120 days of hire (40 hours, including two (2) consecutive eight (8) hour days).
- Experience in crisis services preferred.
