Mental health in the workplace

Mental wellness impacts all employees
76% of U.S. workers reported at least one symptom of a mental health condition in the last year (Source). Over half of employees say their job negatively affects their mental health (Source). These numbers show how common it is for people to struggle with their mental health at work. High stress, long hours, and lack of support can make it even harder for employees to stay healthy and feel their best.

Unaddressed mental health issues are costly to employers
Depression and anxiety cost U.S. employers over $100 billion annually in lost productivity, absenteeism and turnover. Employees with unresolved depression experience a 35% reduction in productivity (Source). Nearly 60% of workers report feeling at least moderate burnout, which is linked to higher turnover, more sick days and lower engagement (Source).

The role workplaces play in mental health
84% of employees said that improved mental health support would make them consider staying longer at a company (Source). Additionally, 92% of U.S. adults believe there is a role for employers in supporting mental health and suicide prevention (Source). When companies invest in mental health support, they not only improve employee well-being but also boost retention and workplace satisfaction.
