Overview of the role
Provide immediate crisis intervention and care coordination services for youth and families according to program policies in assigned school districts. Assist families with scheduling assessments/new appointments or re-connecting with prior service providers. Provide consultation/training to school staff about best practices when supporting youth with thoughts of suicide, safety planning, and reintegration to schools following hospitalization. Act as a liaison between families and the school, offering assistance and referral information (such as participating in IEP and/or re-entry meetings). Support the Mobile Crisis Outreach team by dispatching as needed.
This role requires traditional daytime hours, occasionally extending into early evening for pre-scheduled meetings or events. The role offers the opportunity to sign an ESA for the Mobile Crisis team and pick up additional overtime shifts if desired. Position doesn’t start until June 16th.

What you’ll do

What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field required and 1 or more year year’s relevant experience.
- Comfort using basic computer software.
- Basic typing and data entry skills.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy.
- Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
- Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file.
- Attend all MCO trainings within 120 days of hire (40 hours, including two (2) consecutive eight (8) hour days).
- Experience in crisis services preferred.
- Experience working with and compassion for at-risk youth preferred.
