When your community experiences a crisis, it can be hard to know where to turn. Community crises include events like natural disasters, acts of violence, sudden loss and other wide-spread trauma. Responding to a community crisis is important. We can help.

Community crises can have profound mental health impacts on individuals and the collective community. The immediate aftermath often sees a surge in acute stress reactions, including anxiety, panic and confusion, as people grapple with the reality of the crisis.

Have you been impacted by gun violence?

Our Stand Up for Peace: Group Violence Intervention works with individuals at the highest risk of group and gun violence, typically young males between the ages of 14 – 25. Services for clients are voluntary, free and confidential. Our team provides trauma-informed, client-centered case management and connection to services as a pathway from risky behaviors and towards positive relationships.
