Overview of the role
Supervise and train Self-Sufficiency Advocates (SSA) to ensure quality of Iowa Aftercare Services Network (IASN) policy and procedures, case management responsibilities and client needs are met. Provide one on ones, feedback, and coaching to Aftercare SSA’s to promote growth and quality of services. To work with the Program Manager on collaboration of community meetings, assignment of caseloads, meeting the IASN performance outcomes, and other duties such as billing and file auditing. Collaborate closely with IASN contract holder, IASN providers, DHS, and other community providers to ensure quality continuity of care for clients and effective service delivery. Ensure data collection and reports are completed in an accurate and timely fashion via the IASN database as well Foundation 2’s.
The Aftercare Program Coordinator will typically work Monday-Friday 9-5 pm. There may be times where meetings and client interactions are early morning, evening, or weekend time frames. We offer a flexible scheduling within the bounds of meeting the needs of the clients, staff and/or program.

- The annual base salary range for this position starts at $45,000 per year commensurate on experience, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. What you’ll do

What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in a human service-field required.
- And two (2) or more years relevant experience.
- Comfort using basic computer software.
- Basic typing and data entry skills.
- High comfort with computers with ability to type quickly and multi-task.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy.
- Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
- Submit copy of college degree or transcript as required by licensure for personnel file.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Successfully complete required trainings within required time periods.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in crisis services preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with and compassion for at-risk youth preferred.
- Education or training in trauma-informed care preferred.
- Experience in strengths-based practices preferred.
- Ability to clearly communicate emotional support to people in crisis preferred.
