Remember those who have died by suicide and support local suicide prevention efforts at the Mental Health Matters 5K, in memory of Jeff Vipond.
We are honored to partner with Foundation 2 Crisis Services board member Tim Vipond to host the race. Tim started the race in 2020 to honor his son Jeff.
Since it began in 2020, the Mental Health Matters 5K in Memory of Jeff Vipond has raised more than $67,000 to support suicide prevention efforts at Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
In 2024, these gifts were honored with naming rights to a conference room and a Legacy Wall tile in honor of Jeff Vipond, and a Legacy Wall tile in honor of Blaine Schumacher, at the Foundation 2 Crisis Services new headquarters building. Jeff and Blaine’s families have been instrumental in hosting the Mental Health Matters 5K.
