Helping young people start off on the right foot.

The goal of Fostering Futures is to help young people transitioning out of foster care to have the support and resources they need to reach and maintain stability as independent adults.

Services include Iowa aftercare services, Fostering Higher Education, Achieving Maximum Potential (AMP) youth advocacy and peer group, Youth Transition Decision Making, and more. Services are provided in the Cedar Rapids-area.

Clients work with their Foundation 2 caseworker to identify barriers, set goals and work toward stability. Additionally, financial stipends are available for participants who meet the qualifications. Participation in the program is voluntary.

The Foundation 2 Crisis Services’ Fostering Futures team can support a young adult with independent living challenges including:

  • Housing
  • Education
  • Employment
