Emily Blomme

Chief Executive Officer

Emily Blomme (she/her) joined Foundation 2 Crisis Services as Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Emily has a Bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University.

Since 2000, much of her work has been in the area of crisis response and youth and family services. She is passionate about improving the quality of life in others and is a firm believer that all people are capable of change.
She is a graduate of Leadership for Five Seasons, a 2015 CBJ Forty under 40 honoree, a 2019 CBJ Women of Influence and the same year, was honored as a Waypoint Women of Achievement. Emily is on the Board of Directors for United Way of East Central Iowa and the Coalition for Children and Families in Iowa.

Erin Langdon

Chief Operating Officer

Erin Langdon joined Foundation 2 Crisis Services in 2021. She has worked her entire career in the nonprofit sector. She has an extensive background in leadership and program management.

Erin has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University. She previously developed and grew the Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank.

Erin was recognized as one of the CBJ 40 Under 40 honorees in 2020 and is a graduate of Leadership for Five Seasons.

Matt Heinricy

Chief Financial Officer

Matt Heinricy joined Foundation 2 Crisis Services in 2020. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, and experience in progressive accounting and finance leadership roles.

Matt’s background is in progressive accounting and finance leadership roles. He has spent the last decade serving in finance roles throughout the Cedar Valley.

He was drawn to Foundation 2 because of the vital role it plays in the community’s well-being and it was a place where he could use his skill-set to support mission based work.

Katie Curtis

Chief Development Officer

Katie joined Foundation 2 Crisis Services as Chief Development Officer in 2018. Katie is passionate about addressing youth mental health and suicide prevention.

Katie has been working in the nonprofit sector in Cedar Rapids since 2009, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure, Youth and Human Services with an emphasis in Youth Administration and Nonprofit Development, a minor in Family Services and a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Development from the University of Northern Iowa.

Katie is a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and is a graduate of Integrity Integrated’s Leadership Development Program.
