Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4 pm; serves as a member of the leadership team and is part of on-call rotation for afterhours questions and support.

Overview of the role

Assist with managing daily operations of the Mobile Crisis Outreach program within Dubuque and the surrounding counties according to agency policy and practice. Oversee the hiring and supervision of Mobile Crisis Outreach Counselors who directly respond to individuals experiencing mental health related crisis. Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners through collaborative opportunities, and community outreach. Maintain records for payroll, basic accounting, program data, documentation, billing, and scheduling needs. Participate in regularly scheduled conferences with internal staff, and Foundation 2 contracted agencies. It is the expectation that the Program Coordinator dispatches and spends time in the field as needed for training and for gaps in the schedule.

Wages & Benefits:

  • The annual base salary range for this position is $43,000 – $45,000/year, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and monitoring of staff to ensure adequate program coverage.
  • Monitor implementation of program policies and practices and ensure policies and best practices are followed.
  • Maintain records for payroll, basic accounting, program data, documentation, billing, and scheduling needs.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners through collaborative opportunities, and community outreach.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled conference calls and staff meetings with Foundation 2 and contracted agencies’ MCO staff.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field required and 3 years’ experience working within the mental health field.
  • Program/project management and supervision experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by Foundation 2’s automobile insurance.
  • The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, project management experience, and fosters a positive work culture within a trauma informed setting.
  • High comfort with computers with ability to type quickly and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
  • Experience in crisis services preferred.
  • Experience in strength-based practices preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience working in the mental health, substance use, and/or problem gambling field preferred.
