Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Hours: Part-time, Saturday – Tuesday 7:30am – 1:30pm

We operate a 24/7 crisis center, including phone, text, and chat services.  Overview of the role

Duties include ensuring morning tasks are completed, specifically providing routine, structure, school transports, and supervision for clients. Effectively build rapport with clients, and practice safe de-escalation skills with staff. Ensure clients receive care that is client centered and trauma informed. Complete daily documentation on youth and shift documentation. Other duties as assigned.

The schedule is:

Saturday 7:30a-1:30p

Sunday 7:30a-1:30p

Monday 7:30-1:30p

Tuesday 7:30-1:30p

What you’ll do

What you need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort using basic computer software.
  • Basic typing and data entry skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and be insurable by the agency auto insurance policy.
  • Pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2 Crisis Services.
  • Live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with and compassion for at-risk youth preferred.
